Hello there everyone,
Maybe some of you have noticed my long absence on DeviantArt.com.
And I know that maybe no one will read this journal at all, but it just feels better if I tell at least someone what I've been doing during these months
I'll get right to the point of it.
Some months ago I joined several animation projects:
- "Hell Hath no Hoagie" (HHnH) See the animatic here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qY_76o…
- "Journey of the Spark" (JotS) See the trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUt6br…
- And the project where I started all of this is the first full fanbased "MLP: FiM" episode with studio quality: "Double Rainboom" (DR). See the trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPr7_l…
It started in July, 2012 when I decided to try and join the "Double Rainboom" crew. I asked Zachary Rich (director, producer and writer of DR) if I could join as storyboard artist, concept artist, animatic designer, sound designer and/or animator. I was already too late for the other functions so it was a better idea if I joined the animation side. That's when I made my first pony animation in August, 2012 that was also the test animation ("Problem Solved?" ) for the project to prove that I know how to use Adobe Flash. My animation was full of mistakes, but after making another animation (that I will upload later this year) I was allowed to work on an actual animation shot of "Double Rainboom".
When I worked on the DR project I was told in September, 2012 by one of the crew members, Guilherme Bandini Rosolia that there was another project, called: "Journey of the Spark" (JotS). Another "MLP: FiM" related project. I contacted Eric Ridenour (writer and director of JotS) and he told me that I could help him with his project. I became an animator, concept artist and background designer of the project.
Robert Knorr Told me on January, 2013 about the project "Hell Hath no Hoagie" (HHnH). Directed by David Hammons. I wasn't sure about joining it, because I was more into pony related projects, while HHnH wasn't related to ponies at all. After thinking about it for some time, I decided to join the project, because I love challenges!
In these months I improved in making animation and that all thanks to all the awesome people that work on the projects!
"Double Rainboom" is going to be released on the 30th of March, 2013! So be there when it's going to be released!

Small update, volenteer HWCon
Hi everypony!
It has been some time hasn't it? Well I sure can tell you a lot about what happened in the past months, but that would be too long of a story!
For this current school block I am taking a break. Sometimes it's best to get some rest when stuff gets a little too crowded in real life (and I can tell you with full honesty that things HAVE been getting busy for me).
This is giving me the time and peace to actually getting a little bit back to some older interests, artwise (ponies included). I haven't been allowing myself to experience this kind of calm behaviour for a long time, which is pretty good to realize. I kind of have to go
Announcement.
Hi everypony,
As you know I have been most inactive on this account. I want to stress this important thing: I am only inactive on this account. As you know, I have my original: http://ansem1000.deviantart.com/
But I am most of the time active on my personal facebook art page, where I also talk about different types of drawings: http://facebook.com/mmprins
What's the announcement? It's that I will stay away even more from this brony account for an uncertain time. I do want to come back and draw ponies, I truly do, but I need to improve my way of making drawings and some personal stuff happened, so I will have to get those parts back on trac
The Brony Fandom is NOT dying
I have heard this idea and thought a little bit too often in the past months: "The Brony fandom is dying, everyone is leaving!"
There are many things that go against this statement
1. Fanart, music, fics, animations, etc. are still being produced
2. Many MLP forums are still alive and updating every day
3. There are still so many cons being done, focused on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
4. Only the loyal ones are staying. So it's not dying, it's getting rid of the "fans" who only joined the bandwagon. But the loyal ones stay.
And number 5 is the reason why I make this post:
5. Personal life can get in the way.
I am a prime exa
I'm still here and I love all of you!
Hey everyone!
Dante here with an update.
Just to inform you about the previous journal: HWCon 2015 was a great experience! I won't be surprised if I will go again next year! :D
However
I have been absent for a long time again when it comes to pony art, I know.
And since this account of mine is purely fan related (and my other Ansem1000 (https://www.deviantart.com/ansem1000) is more "professional" related) I won't hold back to get in some more fan related things and other stuff during this journal.
But let's get back to the pony art:
The reason why I've been making less My Little Pony art is actually because I have worked on my own projects. There are two which were pre
